Dear Pushkar ji,

I have written/written opeds on the concept of proportional representation and restructuring of the nation which were published in Kathamndu post and Nepalnews.com . I am providing the link below. The first one uses some mathematics and shows (form the graph, but actually you can prove using calculus) that theoretically, if you elect 9 people, using proportional represetation, from a geographical unit (we candefine the unit any way we want- eg. one unit may consist 100000 people) provides the optimal representation. I am not saying we must follow this but could provide some basis on which we can build, fine tune and adjust etc.)

If you want you can reproduce these for the group one at a time (could be too much to read all of them) or all or none of the articles ( I think you already published the last one ). I know there are others models to by different people and I am not claiming these are the best - just one angle amongst sevreal angles out there

Thanks
Shiva

Dear All,
Greetings. according to Hindu Fundamentalists - Europeans (western people ) are Malechha (dirty people or lower caste). Are they? Any Madhya Yugeen (Fundamentalist) whichever religion they belong use to call others (who don't attach to their way ) same way. The historians are aware of the facts that the Magars had been the ruller of great nation. Many of which are today having thread (sacred thread as they like to say). Last year when I had been in Africa. Some body (one Canadian) told me that it is heard " Gurkhas (mongolian people) are being treated as a lower class people". Then I had to explain him. Some people who portray them upper caste people because of being a Brahman and they portray others except them as a lower class, which is absolutely wrong. We are not less glorius then any others. Nepal is known by the name of our people who sacrificed them during both world wars. During the time of Prithivinarayan Shah and sixty years after the death of him Magars were considered Chatriya. Rana magars were the elite of then society. Rana magars could have taken the title Rana (as Jung Bahadur Rana) many times earlier then Jung Bahadur Rana (according to Historians). There are many more things to excavate which has been left aside by biased historian.
Any way I am going to share some historical facts about magars. You can read it in Nepali Font.
It is true that our living standard and approach to nation's resources is very low. That's why we have to improve our social status by educating our future generations. Large number of our society have been migrating in the name of employment. Only proper education will enable our people being seen decent and reputable. We should know which type of system will uplift our position. What are the causes of present miserable situation. So get yourself indulged in moving to proper direction.
Regards

Paramendra,
Good job. Keep it on.
Just minor correction (Off the record): 205+45+100 = 350, but not 345 what you have mentioned there.
