उल्लु स्वाँठ वामदेव
मोदीले अमेरिकामा, ऑस्ट्रेलियामा सार्वजनिक सभामा भाषण गर्दा अमेरिकाको र ऑस्ट्रेलियाको सार्वभौमसत्तामा धक्का लागेन। तर त्यो मोदी, जो कि दुनियाको सबै भन्दा पॉपुलर नेता बन्न पुगेका छन, त्यस मोदीले जनकपुरमा आम सभामा सर्व साधारणलाई सम्बोधन गर्दा नेपालको सार्वभौमसत्तामा धक्का लाग्ने तर्क वामदेवले आफ्नो शरीरको कुन चाहिँ प्वालबाट झिकेको हो?
Modi was keen to address a public meeting in Janakpur, and given the high expectations, not doing so would have been counterproductive. The impulse was two-fold. One BJP leader said, “Janakpur and Ayodhya will be declared sister cities. It will emphasise our shared Hindu links and cultural heritage.” An Indian official had said, “The PM driving down across the open border will bring attention to the special ties that bind us and the importance of Tarai.”
