Cashless Nepal: A Vision for Universal Welfare

The Kalkiism Research Center in Nepal proposes a radical plan to achieve universal access to free education, healthcare, and justice. This plan centers on a fully cashless, government-controlled banking system with zero-interest rates. The researchers argue this would eliminate corruption, fund public services, and even eradicate the dowry system by making large, untraceable cash transactions impossible. The resulting transparency and economic efficiency would significantly improve the lives of Nepali citizens. While significant implementation challenges exist, the potential societal benefits are deemed substantial.
